  • No, King Airways is a virtual airline. We simulate airline operations using flight simulation software for entertainment and community purposes.
  • Do I need to pay to join King Airways? 
  • Membership in King Airways is currently free. However, we reserve the right to introduce optional donation or premium features in the future.
  • What flight simulators do you support?

  • No, King Airways has a policy of exclusive membership. We believe that to foster a strong, dedicated, and active community, our members should be fully invested in King Airways. Operations:

  • What kind of aircraft do you fly? 
  • We operate a diverse fleet of General Aviation aircraft (based out of KOLM) and Commercial Jet aircraft (based out of KSEA). You can see a list of our fleet on our Fleet page.
  • Where do you fly? 
  • Our route network focuses on regional destinations within the Western and Midwestern United States. You can explore our routes on our Flights page.
  • Do I need to own specific aircraft to fly for King Airways? 
  • Yes, you will need to have the virtual aircraft in your flight simulator that you wish to fly for our VA.
  • How do I log my flights? 
  • Pilots are required to submit Pilot Reports (PIREPs) through our member portal or using smartsCars 3 after each completed flight. smartCars3 can be downloaded here.
  • Do you have pilot ranks and progression? 
  • Yes, we have a ranking system based on flight hours and achievements. You can learn more about this in the Pilots Area once you become a member.
  • Do you offer pilot training and type ratings? 
  • Yes, we have a training program and offer type ratings for our fleet aircraft. Information on training will be available in the Pilots Area.
